Daimer®'s Chewing Gum Removal Machine Technology
Daimer®'s Gum Exterminator® machines use unique dissolving chemicals,
as well as extraction and scrubbing tools, to maximize profits for customers.
Chewing gum removal equipment is only as effective as its underlying technology. Daimer®'s 12 Gum Exterminator® chewing gum removal machines employ a combination of chemical engineering, steam heat and friction to eliminate gum from a wide range of surfaces, including: tile, granite, concrete/cement walkways, asphalt, pavement, pavers, parking lots, driveways, garages and other hard surfaces.
New Concentrated Gum Removing Chemicals
Daimer®'s economical, super-concentrated dissolver solution reduces the cost of operating gum cleaners. In seconds, the reformulated chemical can dissolve gum wads that have been sitting for as long as 20 years.
The formula is also economical. Daimer®'s Gum Exterminator® gum cleaners ship with 2 gallons of the newly re-engineered gum dissolver concentrate, which is enough to make nearly 22 gallons.
Daimer® refills are also inexpensive. Some competitors charge over $300 for two gallons of gum removing solution that makes a total of 10 gallons. Daimer® charges $44 for a 1-gallon refill that makes up to 11 gallons.
The gum removing formula is biodegradable and safe for use around children, schools, daycare centers, playgrounds and healthcare facilities.
For added ease of use, Daimer®'s formula is homogeneous, so it does not require constant remixing like competing dissolver products.
Steam and Steel Chewing Gum Cleaners and Tools
Each Gum Exterminator® chewing gum removal machine is outfitted with an ergonomically designed gum tool and scrubbing system. The tool is positioned at an angle that offers optimal cleaning position and leverage. This design reduces fatigue and improves cleaning results.
The Daimer® tool includes two components: A double squeegee head and an oversized steel scrubbing unit. The squeegee offers a unique feature: extraction, which eliminates hand scrubbing and saves time and effort. The extraction capabilities come from an integrated industrial caliber steam cleaning vacuum offering 2200mm of water column lift.
Generally, gum cleaners without vacuum extraction cause operators to spend more time manually scrubbing.
Six Stainless Steel Brushes with Each Gum Removal Machine
All Gum Exterminator® chewing gum removal equipment includes an oversized 1.75 inch brush that is almost twice as large -- and offers more bristles per square inch -- than some competitors' brushes. In addition, Daimer® brushes are manufactured using rust-proof, stainless steel that outlasts the brass brushes bundled with many competing products. The Daimer® brushes attach to the gum cleaner head using a fitted, threaded, screw-on interface designed to hold up under heavy use.
Pressurized steam is ejected through an opening in the brush. Depending on the configuration, Gum Exterminator® chewing gum removal machines can generate temperatures that can hit 369ºF and pressure levels peaking at 125 psi.
Other competitors' gum removers use flimsy, snap-on connectors. The result is a brush that frequently falls off and turns basic cleaning jobs into full-scale productions. All Daimer® Gum Exterminator® gum removal equipment is sold with 6 brushes.
Durability, Reliability
The Gum Exterminator® line of chewing gum removal machines currently includes 12 machines, 6 in 60 Hz configurations and 6 in 50 Hz configurations for customers outside of North America.
